An Evening on Congress Avenue

Location: Jupiter Supper Club, The Paramount, and Stephen F’s Bar & Terrace

Time: 5:00 p.m.

Date: Saturday, May 16th

Attire: Casual Open Collar

Number of Guests: 14

Join us for an extraordinary evening on Congress Avenue in three acts:

Act One: a multi-course dinner at Jupiter Supper Club, an intimate dining destination celebrated for its luxurious, maximalist design and inventive culinary artistry.

Act Two: a short walk to the historic Paramount Theatre to hear Chucho Valdés, the towering figure of Afro-Cuban jazz, and his Royal Quartet as they close out the ATX Chamber Music and Jazz season. Valdés is founder of the legendary Cuban band Irakere, winner of seven Grammys and six Latin Grammys, Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement honoree, and a 2025 recipient of the NEA Jazz Masters Fellowship, the highest honor the United States bestows on a jazz musician. At 83, he remains as dynamic as ever - the Royal Quartet features three generations of Cuba's finest, including the great drummer Horacio "El Negro" Hernández.

Act Three: private afterglow with cocktails and late-night bites at the Stephen F's Bar & Terrace, just next door, so Chucho may stop by.

Complimentary valet parking for the evening is provided at the Stephen F. Austin Royal Sonesta Hotel. Don't miss out on this one night only event before the curtain falls!
